SUBTITLING

“We do subtitles”!

This statement often baffles the interlocutor, despite the fact that you don’t really need subtitles to understand it…

A subtitle is a written text that is an aid to understanding audiovisual content. It is not to be confused with captions, where speech is usually absent (as with silent films), nor with dubbing, where the actor’s original voice is replaced with that of another actor (the voice artist).

pre-recorded subtitles

electronic subtitles (for international film festivals)

Closed Captions (subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing)
